He is a very promising player (took part in many junior world championships) and played with Kloten last year, where speed is valued highly, with slightly less emphasis on punisher qualities. However, it would be wrong to say that means he isn't tough as nails. He might not be the bull who charges you and tramples you down, but he won't leave you alone till he's got the puck and stand up again and fight if he takes a hit.
Only one defenceman of Kloten played as many games (55) as Seydoux, who is no older than 21. And while Philippe was on the ice when 19 goals were scored against Kloten, he was also on the ice when 27 were scored by Kloten.
