Look at Buffalo this year... Who would have guessed Connelly would play like this... Ribs looks much better then Connelly ever did in the past... What makes the difference is that all there wingers are dangerous now.. Dumont, Pomainville, Hecht, Kotalik, Affinoganov, Vanek. We are not there yet but we could be in two years where Buffalo is today...

Koivu, Plekanek, Chipchura, Ribeiro
Perezhogin, kostsitsyn, Higgins, Ryder, Latendresse, Kovalev

We never know what the future as lined up for us...
Connolly has more skill than Ribs. Better skater, deadly accurate shot, wizard with the puck and I believe he has some size. Connolly's issue has been injuries. I am personally not surprised at all by Connolly. In fact, I think he can produce even more than he did this year.

I agree, the habs are 1 Top D and 1 Top C from contending for the cup. Lats and Chip won't be in the line-up next year, I don't think they will be ready.Kosty will get integrated much like Perezhogin did this year. If Gainey focuses on re-signing Huet and getting a Top D and C, as I suspect he will, the Habs will be even better next year. I also expect a breakout season by Perezhogin
