To me being a Goaltending coach is more mental than technique once you get to this level. Other than that, the coach points to things you can work on.
You don't really want to reinvent the wheel during the season, much like golfing. You think too much and you are in a world of trouble.
I believe you can work on technique in the off season, not much during. If you get inside your own head, those 100 mile an hour pucks are going in.
