It was Colborne's choice because he personally felt and believed it was in his best interest to try and fight through it and solidify himself as a Top Centre prospect in this organization.
He's certainly proven he has the heart and determination with that effort last year, now he'll have to stay healthy and put up one more good AHL season before he's ready for the show.
