I doubt we'll ever know the true, full story either. If it was him, well, he's a moron. If it was somebody else and he wore it knowing it was there, they're both morons. If it was somebody else and he put it on unaware, there's still a moron.
Point is, I don't know if we ever figure out who the other moron is. Clubhouse mentality wouldn't allow him to come out tomorrow and say "Yeah, Kelly Johnson played a prank. Our bad". (Please note, KJ just chosen at random)
