Nels Stewart and Charlie Conaher were over 6 feet.

In my research of Nels Stewart, I found that the thinking of the day wasn't to put the big guys on defense, but to put the slow guys back there. I found countless contemporary opinions that Nels Stewart should play defense because of his poor skating. Big guys generally are slower, but Goheen definately was not.
