Komisarek is a monster deep in the defensive zone, his effectiveness to handle the opponents along the board is already a big notch over Souray which one has a tough time to deal with the new rules cause of his lack of mobility... Also, Komisarek is already more reliable defensively, he takes better decisions..

Offensively its another story, Souray has a hell of shot and can be useful on PP when confortable with it, he is also more confident to stickhandling the puck than Komi. Mike will never be Boby Orr but more he will play more you will see interesting things from him offensively, he still hasnt fully adjusted to the NHL speed in the
sense that its still coming too fast at time, it could still take 1-2 years before he reaches his full potential... He is a defenseman, only 23 years old and possibly one of the 5 bigger defensemans in the league so nothing wrong about his development.

Right now, I think Komisarek already passed Souray in the depth chart.. His physical presence deep in the defensive zone is priceless, his reliability highly appreciated as well.
