No kidding. Plenty of teams made the playoffs last year that lacked at least one, if not more, of those 3 things. (Florida, Ottawa, Chicago, Washington (with Backstrom injured most of the year). 2 true top 6 centers, a true no 1 D, and elite goaltending sounds more like the formula for winning the conference than just making it to the playoffs.
