i should get a chance to watch a fair number of Kitchener Ranger games. I don't really think they have anyone draft eligible that would be of great interest to Oiler fans at this point, though I can update what is going on with Rieder. I'll also try to catch games when they play teams with some of the better OHL prospects.
As for Rieder, I think he will have a big year. He seems to have excellent chemistry with Matt Puempel. Throw in Faksa, who I think is a terrific prospect and that is a dynamite line. Of coures having Murphy stir the pot helps a lot too.
In game 1, Rieder and Faksa were the forwards on the #1 pk as well, so both will get a lot of ice time again this year.
Missasauga played a pretty tight, disciplined game. None of the forwards on the Steelheads really stood out for me. Stuart Percy played a lot on the backend. He seemed steady, but nothing spectacular.
