St. Patricks

New Years
Don't even get me started on St. Patties day. I'm Irish myself and having been to Ireland during St. Patrick's day, let me tell you it's loads more fun, though I guess that fun is subjective. Any way, I'm sick of the kids here who no matter their nationality (usually Italian) profess how their distant relative was Irish and that they "eat potatoes all the time". I actually heard one say that before. The Howard Beach girl are the ones that truly have a reserved spot on my list of things I get livid at. They prance around in the dumbest of hats with leprechaun references and "kiss me I'm Irish" (Spoiler: they aren't) shirts everywhere taking the duck faced face book pictures at every stop and turn. That holiday is ruined for me because of those reasons. At least I still have Christmas.
