Funny, most experts have Minny making the playoffs, while the Devils not, yet they should have at shot at a top five pick, I think using the old system from the last lockout is unfair and short-sighted.
Because Parise walked? I agree that NJ will likely be worse than Minnesota this year, but until hockey is played there is no way to quantify that. Its an imperfect system, but changing the number of balls based on who teams were able to sign in free agency seems more unfair to me.
