Regarding the level of play, Allsvenskan is probably the best tier 2 league in Europe, the top team there aren't far behind the bottom of the Eliteserien. It's not unusual to have players going straight from there to the NHL, Patrik Berglund and Oliver Ekman-Larsson being two recent examples. It's way better than the NLB.

I guess it's a good move for Kukan, he's going to play in a strong league and get more ice time than he would with Luleň.

i am sure he will do the best out of it.

Although i do not know this player, in the JWC last year, i liked what i saw from him !
