I don't think he was the difference though as we were shutout twice in this series by Roy. He along with the entire team were coming off two straight years to the SCF. That takes a lot out of you.
Brodeur has had to straight years where he's ranked like 30th among NHL goalies with 20+ starts in save percentage. He's never had a streak like this in his career.

League save percentages were also lower in the late 90s, so it's not an apples to apples comparison.
