That makes sense Tricia, with those collisions you don't want to break your teeth or bite your tongue. Side note, I used to hang out with the rugby girls in times. Those girls could drink!

But with non-check hockey, I would say you can wear one with a cage if you want the absolute most protection (along with slash guards, a neck guard, padded shirts, kevlar socks, etc). But I don't see it doing anything for concussions and most of us would rarely need it.
