That only makes sense.
Crowds were pretty sparse for the Oil Kings four or five years ago.
They still arent near what they should be imo, especially with the lockout and the winning team. Ive heard people say Edmonton isnt a junior hockey town, but the old Oil Kings used to be pretty well supported, at least up until the last few years before they moved I believe.
Maybe some of the older posters can chime in on that?
