I agree with this, but you also have to be stern. I was told over and over again that downgrading was not an option, and I stuck to my gun and told them that was unacceptable based upon where there assigned me. I was respectful and never yelled, but never gave in to them either. The rep finally said he would take care of me -- and he did.
