I can't say enough about how great Brodin looked. Some other little notes:

Granlund is not afraid to shoot. While everyone (except Zucker) overpassed, Granlund seemed willing to take the shot.

That tryout guy Greenlay was salivating over seemed like a player.

Kampfer wasn't on the Brodin and Scandella level, but he seemed like green's best defenseman (as he should have).

Zucker. That's really all that needs to be said there.

Kuemper looked good, and seemed great at handling the puck. However, it seemed to me he played it outside the trapezoid a few times, or at least very near to.

Hackett said he worked on his puck handling in the offseason and it seems a bit improved. He certainly needed the work there.
