If your team has a traditional shut-down 3rd line he won't be a good fit. Loktionov back checks hard and is crafty in all three zones, but he is too small to play up the middle in tha role. If your team is more puck-possession oriented, he could prosper in that third line spot.

He is smart and a gifted playmaker, but you aren't going to see results playing with 4th line level wingers. I love the kid, but there is no room for him here, and I hope he can find a decent home very soon. He's ready. Think a Filppula-type player.
