Assuming that they have a top 10 pick this coming year they need to draft a franchise running back. We haven't had one of those since Curtis Martin.
They need to resign Bell and Landry, both have made our secondary very good. They need to sign 2 VETERAN offensive linemen. Slauson and Howard should be the back ups.
They need to sign/trade for a veteran wide receiver too.
They're far from being competitive, this season, but not a total rebuild. Right now they have about 11 million dollars free in cap space. Cutting Pace and Scott saves them about 14-15 more. Giving us about 26 million to spend on 2 offensive linemen, resigning our safeties, signing a veteran wide receiver, and signing a beast edge pass rusher.
I would also advocate moving the defense to a 4-3, seeing as Coples thrives under that and would give us more of a pass rush rather than having to bring the house to pressure the quarterback every single time.
I'd list the Jets being 2 years away from being truly dominant again.

What do you do if Revis leaves?
And 2 years away from being dominant is very, very, very, very optimistic.
You guys were never "truly dominant" to begin with.
