Something strange just happened.

I thought I had camera set to "always up"--and I had the controller set to always up. In my game against the Rangers, my lines were reset, and apparently so settings. I tried setting the visual settings to always up, but it didn't take...which would be a problem, except apparently you can't change your controller settings in game.

As a result, up = down for the 1st and 3rd. So a snap shot resulted in a wind-up, and a slap-shot required me to push forward then pull back on the stick--while the camera was coming "in" toward my offensive zone.

I just don't have that kind of skill.

Ah well, lesson learned: Keep controller set to "camera relative."
