Montador is by no means a crap player, he just hasn't been healthy for a while.

As far as the original proposal, Montador's value is low, he needs to return and stay healthy for him to become worth trading for. I don't expect anyone to trade a worthwhile asset for him but I don't think the difference between his value and Connolly's is all that large. Connolly is paid 4.75 to be a #3 center and I believe he did not produce much on the 3rd line either.
