You'd also have to consider where they started out though. Sure Boston won a Cup and TO continually missed the playoffs, but both things were at best lastly due to Kessel and Seguin respectively. That Boston has players like Chara, Thomas, Krejci, etc. should not influence how the trade is seen any more than the fact that Malkin is a Penguin makes the Neal deal highway robbery.
