The scary part about Edmonton is that you can argue their "all time team" actually existed as a real team in a single year.

Take a look at the 84/85 or 85/86 stats. Positively insane.

In 84/85, Glenn Anderson alone put up 42 goals and 39 assists for a strong 81 point season, and he was the FIFTH highest scorer on the team that year!

Coffey from the blue line threw in a modest 37 goals and 84 assists for 121 points! And he was only the third highest scorer on the team.

The great one could only muster a mere 208 points that season.

Mark Messier is on the short list of greatest centers to ever play the game, and he couldn't break into the top line!
