I will take Ribeiro ANY TIME at 1.5M over Arnott at 4M because both are pretty close to each other right now but Ribeiro is getting better and Arnott getting worse.
Better than what? His production certainly isn't better than it was. But let's say for the sake of argument that he is improving. He still isn't as good as the second line centers of most teams that compete with the Canadiens. A year or two ago ago some overenthusiatic fans predicted he could become an 80-90 points player. Obviously he won't make it. Realistically, what is his scoring potential? And how can he overcome his limitations in other areas? I need not spell these out, Philippe, because they have already been discussed ad nauseum.
