Comparing Galchenyuk to Pouliot is ridiculous (seeing how different those two players and persons are) and the 2005 draft was not deep by any means, the first round especially was very disappointing. The entire first round produced exactly 3 legit first liners (Crosby, Kopitar and Ryan), two good defensemen (JJohnson and MStaal) and 2 great goalies (Price and Rask). The rest are either second&third liners or complete busts (''complete busts'' includes about half the first round picks).
