The thing that worries me about Hemsky is the type of injury he's had. He tore his labrum in his shoulder as a result of contact, not repetition or wear down, so in all likelihood he's got a Bankart tear. And the thing about those is that:

This is the kind of injury that follows someone throughout their career, and can never be totally fixed through surgery. That's why everyone's scared off of him, and why he doesn't have any trade value here.
