He's a fairly good player, but he's also been a pretty big disappointment so far. I mean, he was taken 1st overall overall in a draft that was very strong near the top, with Jordan Staal, Jonathan Toews, Nicklas Backstrom and Phil Kessel going 2-5. A lot of people were looking at him as a generational talent, and so far he's been pretty . . . meh. He has a lot of tools when you watch him, but he just has not been THAT effective, on St. Louis or Colorado.
