The underrating of Backes in this thread is hysterical. He's going to be one of the three most important forwards on the roster with ease and hold down a major defensive role with Kesler.

The forwards are fine, maybe with JvR, Wheeler and Pacioretty featuring more prominently than they do here, and ideally a more "sexy" second line pivot than Stastny comes through between now and then (a not off-wing Kessel is another minor fix too, I guess).

The D is my biggest issue here, especially not having another top-four defensive RHD. Can Suter/McDonaugh actually play the right side? Because this drastically affects my depth chart (Weber, Girardi and Rafalski are all righties).

If yes:
Suter-McDonaugh playing 30 a night
Yandle-Carlson
Scuderi/Orpik/Gleason/LHDFD-EJ/JJ/Fowler
Byfuglien

If no:
Suter-Carlson
McDonaugh-RHDFD
Yandle-EJ/JJ/Fowler
Byfuglien

With Buffy often playing forward and generally acting as an ace-in-the-hole destructive force, especially against Canada on the PP.
