I think the conversation at this point has to come down to Alzner, Girardi, and Gorges, because no one else shoulders that big of a load. Having a QoC near 1, a Corsi Rel QoC near 1.5, and less than 45% O-Zone starts demonstrates just how tough these guys have it, and how much their teams rely on them defensively. There aren't a lot of players in this league who can take those minutes and come out ahead.
Choosing between those three, I'd put Alzner and Gorges a little ahead of Girardi, because neither of them were playing these minutes alongside another elite defender. Instead, they were playing with young puck movers who are each turnover machines (Carlson and Subban were 1st and 3rd amongst defensemen in turnovers, respectively).
At this point it's a toss up. Statistically, Alzner and Gorges are ridiculously close, and they both deserve to be in the top 10 here.

I'd also like to see more included in this (I know you just threw it together real quick, but it's pretty subjective when you can pick and choose who you put on there).
