It's all about branding and recognition. It's already happening. I know STU grads who proudly wear their rings, and the green T with the gold outline is already recognizable on the ring. It's relatively recent, but as alumni spread, so does the tradition. Then you tie the T on the ring to the logo. As teams win and go to nationals wearing the T -- not necessarily the men's hockey team, but the men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams -- they become identified with the T. You can debate the merits of how good it looks or whatever -- and I agree, the new threads look very sharp -- but it's about establishing a brand. And when you talk about M being too common a letter -- what's the McDonald's logo again?
