There's a lot of factors you can't control in a hockey game. I think the uncontrollable part of hockey really tipped the scale towards Carolina in that series. Before those events occur, the habs were in control. It's not anybody's fault, and the only knock on the habs is that they didn't raise the level of their games in face of adversity.
Our lack of depth was very evident after losing Saku. It was one of those deflating losses. Worse than that, no penalty, and the penalty in OT. That was just a really bad chain of events that we couldn't dig ourselves out of.

We gave it a valiant effort though.
