IMO Team Patrick has the 2 best goalies in the series.
Hainsworth and Smith could probably go either way.

Both Pilote and Clancy seem like they should be top pairing Dmen. Were they ranked lower back then or was their placement on each teams' 2nd pairing a strategic move (like maybe thinking Pilote wouldn't be able to handle Howe physically)?
Clancy was underrated and a nice later pick. Pilote was drafted at the right time, but was just separated from Chelly as a way of "spreading out" the talent.

I may just not be thinking this through and/or adjusting for recent players that increased their value a lot since this draft , but I expected the 4th lines to be made up of better players.
Oh yeah, there are tons of good players we could have put on those 4th lines.

Gerard Gallant and Brian Rolston, in a 16 team draft? Yikes!
