The nov 2nd start date won't be hit ( most likely ) but it seems that THERE WILL be hockey this season. Thats the most important part.
I don't believe 11/2 is obtainable either because the NHLPA is going to take a couple of days to accept/counter and the NHL would then of course have to accept the counter and then they're going to still need 7-10 days of physicals, training camp, roster moves and that stuff
The first week-10 days of November though I wouldn't entirely rule out
