I hope not, I hope he at least learned something from '95 and how much repeated work stoppages finally caused baseball fans to say 'we've had enough!'. I sense that from a lot of hockey fans now, even more so than in '04. Like most, I wouldn't put it past him to try and pull a power play now that the owners finally came off their perch a little...but hopefully common sense prevails finally.

Agreed, if they can't work out a deal in the next week or two with this framework then the players deserve the lion's share of blame now. For the first time since this began, there's actually light at the end of the tunnel. We'll find out if it's the promised land or an oncoming train soon.
