On a serious note, I don't think Bryz'll be going anywhere unless it has a goalie coming back and it benefits the Ducks. Murray didn't draft a goalie this year because of him, and I'm not comfortable with Ferhi starting full time.

Just what have Getzlaf and Bryzgalov proven in the NHL - oh yeah - absolutely nothing. This deal has major major risk for the oil as both guys could be total busts or just plain mediocre. If you think this is a bad offer then give your head a shake - and look at these stats:

Comrie kicked your little ex-superstar's butt in 01-02 (note the +/- as well) and was on-track for the same kind of season before he broke his wrist and played the last half of last year in a cast (Comrie's +/- was actually positive before the injury). Yeah Getzlaf and Bryzgalov for MC is very very fair. If you're worried about your starting goalie in the minors - we'll toss you Valliquette for nothing if that calms you down.
