Besides the obvious points such as being one of our leaders and the big shot and all that, there are very few players in this league that dare to close shooting lanes when Souray is shooting the puck with all his fury.

In the playoffs, when shooting lanes are sealed air tight, Souray is one of the few guys that can test the fortitude of opposing players with his shot alone, and often open the shooting lane.

As the numbers state with Souray's 3 goals in 6 games plus multiple rebounds created, it is definitly an underrated asset for the montreal canadiens to deploy.
Yeah, but the logjam on defense has to be broken so we can upgrade. All of the guys are third pair guys with the exception of Markov. Komisarek is still learning, but he's still essentially a third pair guy right now because of his limitations moving hte puck. We can't continue with this situation.
