Overating is definately not a problem with Kyle Chipchura, if anything we are definately underating him and his offensive ability. Sure he's not a scoring machine but let's not forget for who he was playing and in what league. 55 points for a man who was used everywhere on his team is not very good in say, the Q but in the WHL that's still good enough for 38th in the league.

Strangely enough, Chippy's reputation reminds me of Higgins. Everyone keep going how great leadership they have but keep saying they don't have what it takes offensively to get anything better then a third line shot. We all know what happens with Higgins, everyone thought Plekanec better offensively but it seems we were wrong.

Also.. Chipchura's speed won't be a problem as long as he keeps his feet moving and work hard. Improving it should of course help him alot but it won't be a problem.
