Strangely enough, Chippy's reputation reminds me of Higgins. Everyone keep going how great leadership they have but keep saying they don't have what it takes offensively to get anything better then a third line shot. We all know what happens with Higgins, everyone thought Plekanec better offensively but it seems we were wrong.

Also.. Chipchura's speed won't be a problem as long as he keeps his feet moving and work hard. Improving it should of course help him alot but it won't be a problem.
Not everyone said that about Higgins. He had good stats in Hamilton, far better than Kostitsyn's, for example. The Habs didn't move up in the draft to get him for his leadership qualities.
