My train of thought and point is that Rask is skewered for missing 2 periods and yet no one is worried about Bergeron at all when he has a much worse injury history. Just pointing out the idiocy of the board. Bergeron can never do wrong, while others are hated upon.
I'm not stating that Bergeron is injury prone at all but there is evidence that he misses games almost every season with a couple of serious injuries to boot. I'm sure he would have missed a few games had his injury last year not been in the playoffs and he certainly wasn't himself despite not missing those games last year.
Ah, alright. Didn't follow the Tuukka thread, so I missed that reference and can't really comment on it.
Still, I'm at the point where I pretty much exclude concussions from the term injury prone, as they are a separate animal altogether. If you've had a couple, or one major, that's an issue in itself.
If I think injury prone, I think guys like Hemsky or Havlat or Gaborik that regularly miss 20-30 games a season (don't pull me up on any of those, just a feeling). I certainly wouldn't put Bergy in that bracket.
