Watched the North Dakota game. Guess the coach was indeed sending a message to the top line as Kristo's line was back as the #1 line and MacMillan's line was moved back to the 2nd line. Was a fun game to watch, thought Kristo's line was the best again and that play was a highlight reel move on both passes.

MacMillan was paired with Kristo on the PK, and they continued to use Kristo on the point on the PP.

Lots of games on today to watch!

They are very hard to compare, the CHL has more talent throughout, as the NCAA has a very wide range of good teams vs bad teams. There are some very good teams in the NCAA but then there are some weak to very weak conferences like the Atlantic, Independant (only has 2 teams, Penn St and Alabama Huntsville) and ECAC. Plus there is no age limit, so you get older players that are more physically mature, it's not uncommon to have 22, 23, 24 year olds on the team while they almost never have players under 18.

Ward couldn't skate and had injury problems. Bozon appears to be skilled but lacks mass/strength especially lower body strength. Since he's 18, he'll have a couple years to work on filling out his frame but at this point he's nothing like Ward, but I understand what you are saying, can he produce without his linemates and that's a valid question that likely won't be answered this year. We'll see where he's at in 2 years when he moves up to the AHL.
