(Top 10 PG in the NBA, the real deal, will make Raps games more fun to watch not having to see Calderon out there most of the games either),
(8th overall pick and pretty good defending shooting guard with a nice shooting stroke but not really good off the bounce, pretty athletic),
John Lucas III
(decent 2nd/3rd string PG, played well for the Bulls last season with the absense of Derrick Rose. Shoot first PG who is streaky. Gives raps diff dimension at PG spot),
(raw athletic big taken in 2nd round, not expected to do much this year. 15th man or D-league bound, good rebounder though, compare to a younger more inexperienced Reggie Evans), and last but not least
(big things expected for this young talented center from Lithuania, expected to be in the hunt for ROY if he stays out of foul trouble, will probably be starting center if he keeps improving, Aaron Gray is nothing special.)
Gone are Jerryd Bayless, James Johnson, Jamaal Magloire, Rasual Butler, Leandro Barbosa. No real losses there. I liked Barbosas game but JLIII is basically a younger Barbosa.
Start paying attention guys Raptors are gonna be a good team this year. East got a bit better but Raps got a LOT better. Some teams got significantly worse like Orlando, Chicago (lost Asik, some bench depth with JLIII and Korver and of course no D-Rose) and Atlanta. And some teams are older or got older like Boston and New York who will probably be fighting injuries more then most teams.
wow eh.. some great input.. hopefully its not like what happened to the jays this year though.
