4-1 win for Sarnia over Brampton. A pretty boring game I must say, well until Galchenyuk stepped on the ice. He picked up a goal and two assists.

Galchenyuk's first shift was terrible. He couldn't hold on to the puck the puck and over skated it. After that though, he never looked back. He had a filthy behind the back to pass Duinick but nothing came out of it. At one point he tried to get to fancy and lost the puck. His first assist came off of a cross ice pass to Basso could in turn passed to it Boucher on the PP. Right afterwards he took a slashing penalty. Galchenyuk also had a collection of a great moves in the neutral zone. In the second Galchenyuk got even better. He showed off some just down right incredible hands. At one point he was just toying with the Battalion, they couldn't get the puck off him. He also hustled back and broke up a 3 on 1. It was the Alex Galchenyuk show in the second period. In the third he was a bit quieter until about halfway through. He scored a beautiful goal after the puck took a funny bounce and he blew past the defenders. He went towards the net and did a few nice moves and blew a wrister past the goalie. He also had a beautiful saucer pass to Duinick (again) but he couldn't get his shot off. His second assist came off a pass to Sarault who passed to Hargrave who scored on the empty net.

Overall, I thought it was a great performance by Galchenyuk tonight. He was easily the best player on the ice, and created a ton of chances. He had a few chances from in close that he couldn't bury, but regardless he was awesome. I was very impressed with his 2nd period and the final ten minutes of his game. Really great performance.

-Alex Basso played another solid game. He puck up an assist and made some really nice rushes offensively. However, he really shone in his own zone.
-Reid Boucher had a very good game. He had a rough stretch, so hopefully this game is the beginning of a turn around. Finished with a goal and an assist.
-Charles Sarault had a rough game. While he had some flashy moves, he couldn't keep the puck on his stick.
-Craig Duinick was very solid, he was Sarnia's best defenceman. Just a very solid two-way player.
-Anthony DeAngelo played a great game. He had turnovers, but that comes with his offensive style. He was all over the ice.
-Connor Jarvis played a great game. He was all over the ice in the first, but slowed down. He played with a ton of energy.
-Barclay Goodrow was held pointless, but he was good tonight. He played physical and was very strong on the puck
-Dylan Blujus started off quiet, but looked very good as the game wore on. He doesn't have a lot of flash, but rather plays a solid defensive game.
