Gainey's refusal to sell off any of the prospects all year is the key to next year and forward.
It's just impossible to think that the Habs prospects due next year and going forward WILL ALL BUST. Thier are a lot of good ones, eveyone knows who thay are. It's all good
In fact Komi has realy started to come around, Pleks is a keeper for sure, Prez needs to break out but he has improved his game a ton.
Gainey got rid of a bad contract and will dump at least 3 if not 5 off the team. Gainey has a war chest to plug holes the prospect pool can't. It's all good
The 2007 team will have many new faces, it will take 2-3 months to gel and get some chemistry but after that LOOK-OUT, it's all good
Barring a complete and utter distruction of the prospect pool, the freak death of it's top players in a plane crash, the Habs will have a ton of depth at all positions on all lines, in just 2-3 years.
It's all good
