The big issue thus far IMO, is that Gally was having a tough time picking his spots, I think mostly due to some self imposed pressure to prove he's good and worthy of a top 3 pick.
He was caught in between waiting for the play to come to him and trying to do to much for the opening part of the year

You know that's pretty much what it means to be rusty right? Timing is off, decision making isn't as good, and trying to do too much because you're eager to get back to where you were.
Not sure what you're arguing about really. The kid missed a full season, he came into the season in good physical condition, but still had to get rid of the ''no playing'' rust. Happens to every single player that goes through such long injuries.
It's also just 15 games in, and so far he's been pretty good. Are you judging him on the first 4-5 games he played?
He got rid of his rust quite fast imo.
