Point is, Winnipeg was moved as soon as it was determined it couldn't work. An outdated arena and ownership were a major problem. Problem solved, go back to Winnipeg.

Why stick with such a dismal 10 year failure in Phoenix? What exactly has the Phoenix franchise done for attracting U.S. TV viewership?
Guess they're counting on the new CBA to attract an owner and make the franchise viable.
Seems to me Paul Kelly's strategy is more sound.
