The truth is the "big 4" are at least 3 years from the beginning of their prime, which would have Luongo at 36, by the time the window is opening.
If the Oilers are looking for a goalie to ride along for the dynasty, they'd be much better off going for another younger goalie to play with Dubnyuk. Bring in a guy like Greiss. Have him play as a tandem/compete for #1 job with Dubnyuk.

Because the Oilers have a young core, they have no use for above average goaltending for the next several years, because Luongo is over 30?
