At least Shoalts has stopped pretending to have any other source than the PA.
And the whole PA response to this move on the league side-Walsh insisting it is nothing new, all the PA mouth pieces coming out to throw mud on it just like the 50/50 offer when they tried to save the season-this leaves me discouraged.
i don't see any signs that Fehr has any interest at all in reaching any negotiated settlement this year. It seems like fending off all offers, followed by spinning and PR stunts to keep the players and media onside, finger pointing at Bettman and the owners-that is what we are going to get.
I would love to be surprised, but I just don't see it, don't see any interest in an agreement by the Fehr boys and they hold absolute power in the PA and are being cheered on by zealots like Rodier and Walsh and others. That is their true constituency, not the players.
