I've been 6'3" or taller since I was 15, I'm used to being awkward in public. That's not a concern.

There is a pretty big community center kinda place nearby, where my high school hockey team played. I'll probably look them up first. Thanks for the input!

That is another major concern. I've got some pretty solid skates, some nice gloves, and that's about it.

Edit: aaaaaand my local place doesn't seem to differentiate between kids and adults... That seems odd.
