There really are not very many options. The only thing you can really do is buy a ton of air fresheners and an industrial sized bottle of febreeze and hose your gear down with it after each skate. Put about 4 strongly scented air fresheners around the bag and that should kill most of the smell.

Also keep your bag near an open window whenever possible.
