Why isn't this kid playing during the lockout? He's still only 21 years old and is definitely considered a developing player. In order to develop, he needs to PLAY.
I don't see why he wouldn't be spending his time during the lockout developing his game with a team somewhere, not coaching minor hockey in Ontario, which is what I believe he's doing.
He took huge steps in his game last season and knowing how hard he works, I'm pretty shocked that he's not wanting to be putting himself in game situations to continue his growth like many of his teammates.
Anyone else share these concerns?
